Immich-Batterieberg

Escheburg Riesling 2019

$39
  • Vegan
A blend from winemaker Gernot Kollman's four Grand Cru sites of ungrafted vines that are a minimum of 60 years old. A vivid, energetic, deceptively dry Riesling with rich fruit and powerful aromatics (reminiscent of an Alsatian wine). Easily the best value when it comes to quality-for-dollar.

Immich-Batterieberg

Immich-Batterieberg is one of the oldest estates in the Mosel, dating back to 911 AD. The winery's name is taken from the hill that Carl August Immich dynamited in the 1840s, translating to 'battered mountain'. The rocky, quartz encrusted gray slate results in complex wines worth savoring. All of their wines are also vegan and natural.
